This course is for students who have had no previous Chinese Mandarin Language studies. We will then move on to 'musica leggera', before delving into the origins of Italian cinema with iconic figures such as Pasolini, Fellini, and Leone. We will also examine Italian comedy and contemporary cinema, and conclude with a look at the evolution of Italian theatre, featuring playwrights like Pirandello and Alfieri.
