Splatter painting is a thrilling way to dive into art for absolute beginners! In this course you will embrace free style of acrylic splatter paint techniques and learn the fun and exciting way to create your art artwork with fun techniques and tools! During the course you will explore subjects for your creation such as: flowers, abstract portraits, geometric shapes or nature elements.By the end of this course you will have created colourful splatter painting masterpieces to take home. $25 payment cash to tutor on the day will cover use of all materials;painting board, variety of all splatter paint and tools to use during the course.

Your Tutor is Victoria Lowery

Victoria Lowery MA VisArt, GradDipEdSec has been teaching at WEA since April 2011.

Victoria is passionate about the creative process, and has been drawing, painting, working with textiles and designing from an early age, influenced by her father who was an artist and graphic designer. 

Victoria emigrated from Ukraine as an established artist and graduate of L’viv National Academy of Arts, and came to South Australia in 2011 after living and exhibiting her artwork in Austin, Texas in the United States for two years. 

While teaching at the WEA, Victoria completed a Master’s Degree in Visual Art and Design and Illustration and later, a Diploma in Secondary Education at UniSA. 

Victoria teaches a range of WEA art and craft courses including acrylic and watercolour painting, drawing, textiles and fibre design.
