Course Description

Yoga Plus is a unique fusion of yoga and Pilates that promotes strength, stability, flexibility, and inner calm. 

This low-impact course focuses on gentle movement, breathing, and relaxation, using the core principles of Pilates, such as control, alignment, and posture, to support a basic yoga practice. 

With a focus on balance between mind, body, and spirit, this course is ideal for those seeking a non-competitive, joint-friendly approach to physical and mental wellness. 

Each session incorporates simple postures (asanas), core strengthening, breathwork, and guided relaxation or meditation. 

Alongside physical practice, students will be introduced to the philosophy behind yoga and how it can support a harmonious, modern lifestyle. 

Whether you're looking to ease into gentle exercise, reduce stress, or improve your overall wellbeing, Yoga Plus offers a nurturing, supportive environment to begin or deepen your journey.

Course Structure

Over the duration of the course, students will gradually learn a sequence of beginner-level yoga postures enhanced with Pilates techniques that support strength, balance, and core stability. 

Each class begins with gentle stretching and breathing techniques, followed by postural work and mindfulness-based movement. 

Sessions conclude with guided relaxation and optional meditation. 

In addition to the physical practice, this course will introduce students to the principles of yoga philosophy in an accessible and practical way.
