This 2-week course provides you with the tools you need to start learning how to relax the mind and prepare the body for better sleep. Discover how to easily integrate this transformative practice into your nightly routine in a welcoming, compassionate and fun environment.
Course Description
Learn evidence-based techniques, tools and tips to improve your sleep in this practical meditation course, designed for beginners and those seeking to refresh or deepen their meditation practice.
Find ways to relax your mind and body for sleep, and to somatically process emotional energy when you awaken with a racing mind in the middle of the night.
Each session includes a brief discussion around sleep tips, how we can work with our mind as we lay awake, guidance through multiple evidence-based techniques and time for questions and reflection.
We will sit on chairs for comfort in normal attire and practise without religion or dogma. Bring some water and a pad and pen to make notes, if you want to.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or rekindling your meditation practice, you’ll gain simple tools, understanding and experience to use meditation as an aid to better sleep and reduce the anxieties and stress of insomnia.
Open to adults aged 18 and over with some or no prior meditation experience.
Please note, this course is not suitable for individuals with severe mental health conditions unless cleared by a medical specialist.
Join us to learn and explore meditations for better sleep in a welcoming and supportive environment.
