Art Therapy Mini Retreat

Course Description

Take a restorative day to relax, restore and reconnect with yourself through creativity, mindfulness and nature-inspired artmaking.

This gentle mini retreat invites you to step out of daily busyness and into a slower, more spacious rhythm.

Guided through calming eco-art activities, mindful reflection and simple expressive art processes, you’ll explore ways to support emotional balance and inner clarity.

Through sensory engagement and nature-based prompts, the day unfolds as a quiet invitation to reconnect with your own wellbeing.

Throughout the retreat, you’ll experiment with intuitive mark-making, reflective journalling and creative exercises designed to nurture insight rather than produce a perfect artwork.

Working at your own pace, you’ll be supported by a Certified Art Therapist in a friendly, encouraging environment that values process over product.

No art experience is needed, just curiosity and an openness to explore creativity as a pathway to calm, clarity and self-care.

Course Structure

Your retreat day begins with a mindful arrival and grounding meditation to help you ease gently into the space.

You’ll then move into a nature-connection exercise, tuning into sensory details and letting natural textures and forms inspire your creative process.

Guided artmaking activities will follow, offering opportunities to explore colour, line and intuitive expression using simple materials.

After breaks for tea and a relaxed lunch, you’ll shift into reflective journalling and optional sharing, deepening the insights gained through the creative process.

The day concludes with an integration activity and a warm closing circle, sending you home grounded, centred and creatively refreshed.
