Through guided discussion and shared reflection, participants will explore what a “good life” looks like across cultures and gain fresh insights into how small, intentional changes can lead to lasting improvement.

Course Structure

The session begins with an open discussion exploring what it means to live a good life and how definitions of fulfilment and happiness vary around the world.

From there, the course examines ten key elements that contribute to a healthy and meaningful life, ranging from nutrition, movement and lifestyle habits to less obvious factors such as connection, purpose and mindset.

Global wellbeing movements are explored including the Slow Food and Sober Curious movements and the Blue Zones phenomenon, alongside a look at Australia’s unique cultural approach to health and happiness. And the very latest in longevity research will be examined from energy medicine to cryotherapy to biohacking.

The course concludes with a practical reflection session, where participants consider how these ideas can be applied to their own lives and identify realistic, sustainable steps for moving forward.

Your tutor is Christine Diamond

Chrstine has been teaching at WEA since 2025.

Christine Diamond, LLB, MBA, grew up in Adelaide and after being admitted to practice law in South Australia, took a year off to travel to Europe. She then went to New York and after practicing for a number of years, went to New York University and wrote two travel books on living in New York.

She had some serious health challenges and came to realize that there was a whole body of knowledge she had been completely unaware of. So, she decided to study healing and nutrition at the world’s oldest alternative health institute in Florida and then became a certified life, wellness and addiction coach.

Today, she consults, writes and lectures around the world on health, healing and happiness.

Having travelled to close to 100 countries to learn about their particular practices, she has realized that Australia truly has a very unique way of living not found anywhere else.

Travel is one of her great passions, along with cooking, yoga, tennis and reading.
