Course Structure
The course is delivered through a series of practical, hands-on sessions combining demonstrations, guided exercises and individual experimentation.
Students begin with drypoint printmaking, learning how to design, etch and print an image using intaglio techniques and a printing press.
The course then moves into monotype and collograph approaches, exploring the use of textures, botanical materials and found objects to create layered, one-of-a-kind prints.
Participants will then develop skills in relief printmaking, beginning with Ezy-carve and progressing to traditional lino.
You’ll learn how to design, carve and print blocks, experimenting with both hand-printing and layered techniques.
In the final sessions, students refine and combine their work, completing and resolving prints while building confidence across multiple printmaking methods.

Student Testimonials
"Having previously attended other linocut workshops, I found Hanah's session to be the most enjoyable. She takes time to explain processes clearly and in a manner that is not going to 'break the bank' by buying the most expensive equipment. Hanah keeps it 'real' and has given me the confidence to move forward with my linocut journey."
"Very hands-on and satisfying to be able to take home the finished product!"
"Hanah continues to inspire me in my linocut journey. She allows me to experiment and have fun."
