Your Tutor is Wayan Dudug

Wayan commenced with WEA in 2025.

He first came to Australia in 1993 with the Festival of the Arts. He grew up in a  small village community of artists in Ubud, Bali, where his love of art was first fostered.

His training was first with wood and then stone and paintings as well. Wayan's own art practice reflects his Balinese and Hindu themes along with the influence of western styles such as Impressionism in his paintings.

He spends his time between Bali and Adelaide where he works with school students across SA with carving, as well as creating public sculptures and his own private pieces.
