Find your own signature marks and colour theme using a variety of fun techniques to create your own Watercolour Journal pages. Let water and paint mingle into dreamy, organic blends, perfect for background pages. You will create mesmerising watercolour patterns by applying playful techniques such as: intuitive brush marks, splattering, marble ball rolling, stencilling and much more. With your tutor's guidance, by the end of this course, you will have arranged your watercolour pages into a simple Journal design. Course is suitable for all levels. Approximate material cost $70.

Your Tutor is Victoria Lowery

Victoria Lowery MA VisArt, GradDipEdSec has been teaching at WEA since April 2011.

Victoria is passionate about the creative process, and has been drawing, painting, working with textiles and designing from an early age, influenced by her father who was an artist and graphic designer. 

Victoria emigrated from Ukraine as an established artist and graduate of L’viv National Academy of Arts, and came to South Australia in 2011 after living and exhibiting her artwork in Austin, Texas in the United States for two years. 

While teaching at the WEA, Victoria completed a Master’s Degree in Visual Art and Design and Illustration and later, a Diploma in Secondary Education at UniSA. 

Victoria teaches a range of WEA art and craft courses including acrylic and watercolour painting, drawing, textiles and fibre design.
