Commencing at the corner of King William Street and Gilles Street, Bob the Murder Man will take you for a walk and narrate some of the nasty murders in Adelaide in the 1800's and 1900's. Murders include the death of Elsie Pretty who died from an abortion and the murder of Mrs Oxley and her three children who were murdered by the man who was meant to protect them whilst he was temporarily insane. The tour takes two hours and concludes near the GPO. A certain level of fitness is assumed for these walks.

Some people know him as Bob the murder man, others know him as a novice historian with a passion for unravelling the mysteries of South Australia's darker past. With years of research and exploration into the state’s historical records, and 4 years of volunteering as a guide at the Old Adelaide Gaol, Bob brings to light the chilling tales of murders, hangings and unusual deaths that have left a mark on South Australia's history.  All records must be 50 years or older for him to access them.

From the harsh frontier days to the bustling cities of the 20th century, Bob provides a captivating narrative that sheds light on the social, cultural, and legal contexts surrounding these gruesome events, and the changes in standards, expectations and law along the way.
