Your Tutor is Ambika Chadwick

Ambika has been teaching at WEA since 2025

She has been a Yoga Teacher for over 25 years, and a Yoga Teacher Trainer for over 10 years. Her business, The Yoga Social, has been training teachers throughout Australia, online and in person and she’s so happy to commence sharing her knowledge of yoga at WEA.

Ambika discovered yoga in her late teens, and lived in ashrams and travelled the globe studying yoga and meditation and also working as a performer.

She’s embarked on numerous trainings herself, including 3 x 200hr trainings, 1 x 300hr training and many movement workshops and courses over the past 30 years.

She is a senior yoga teacher with Yoga Australia, and her courses are registered with both Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance, which means that students who graduate from her courses also have the opportunity to register with these industry bodies.

When she’s not yoga’ing, or working as a course coordinator (upstairs) at WEA, this crazy cat lady is listening to David Bowie on vinyl, eating vegan food and tending to her veggie garden.
