This course is an introduction course to the broad world and helps to demystify the financial world with a view to helping people to think about financial independence - where money works for you. Navigating the professional services too from accountants to financial advisors, knowing who to seek help from, when and for what.

Your Tutor is Shane Wise 

Shane Wise has been teaching at WEA since 2019. 

Shane previously worked in the finance industry, as well as with universities in Australia and overseas. His passion is to share his experience and knowledge with students, and he is driven to help Australians gain greater financial literacy and ultimately a greater understanding of all things financial.

Shane has a Master of Environmental & Business Management, a Master of Teaching, and a Diploma of Financial Planning (RG146).
