Long range climate forecasts predict greater extremes of weather and rising temperatures which will prove challenging for many gardens and gardeners. Gardens are not only great to enjoy but have other benefits such as increasing property values and reducing energy consumption but how can we continue to enjoy our plants if the climate changes so much. In this presentation, we will be exploring what those changes may be and how we can modify our gardening habits to meet these challenges. Come along and find out some of the strategies we can use to help us to be able to enjoy our gardens without breaking the bank.

Your Tutor is Peter Wilson 

Peter Wilson has been teaching at WEA since 2010. 

Peter has a Certificate in Education from Greenwich University, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, an Advanced Certificate in Urban Horticulture from TAFESA, and a Certificate in Horticulture from TAFESA.

Peter has been teaching horticulture for nearly 30 years both locally and overseas, working with students from 3 years old and up. He has taught accredited and general interest sessions on a broad range of topics in this field and won prizes at Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows.
