Sacred Geometry is the study of the spiritual meaning of geometric shapes and its applications to the shapes and patterns we find in nature. In this workshop, students will learn 3 basic sacred geometry patterns, including the Flower of Life and how these patterns can be incorporated into the construction of Mandalas. There will be time for students to colour their creations as well. Paper will be supplied by tutor and included in fee.
Course Description
Step into the world of sacred geometry, where art, science, and spirituality beautifully intersect.
This engaging and beginner-friendly workshop explores the deeper symbolic meanings of geometric shapes and the patterns that appear in nature, architecture, and spiritual traditions across the world.
You’ll learn to draw three foundational sacred geometry patterns—including the iconic Flower of Life—and discover how these patterns can be used as a framework for creating your own mandalas.
This course offers a gentle introduction to the spiritual and aesthetic principles behind sacred geometry while guiding you through hands-on drawing exercises.
With time allocated for colouring and creative expression, this workshop encourages both learning and relaxation.
Whether you are drawn to sacred geometry for its artistic appeal, meditative quality, or symbolic meaning, you’ll leave with finished pieces and the tools to continue exploring at home.
Course Structure
The session begins with a short introduction to the principles and spiritual symbolism of sacred geometry, including examples of how these patterns appear in the natural world and cultural design.
Students will then be guided through drawing three foundational patterns step-by-step—such as the Seed of Life, Flower of Life, and one additional sacred pattern—using a compass, ruler, and pencil.
After learning the structures, participants will explore how these forms can serve as the base for mandalas, adding their own creative touches through colouring and pattern embellishments.
The workshop ends with a casual sharing session where students can reflect on their experiences and ask questions.
All drawing will be done on quality paper supplied by the tutor, and no prior artistic experience is required.
